The Showroom is a publicly funded, contemporary
art gallery with a programme of four exhibitions a
year.
While the gallery receives Fixed Term Funding
from Arts Council England to cover core costs, the level of
support means that additional funding has to be
raised to realise each exhibition.
The money raised by The Friends Scheme does
not go towards administrative costs but directly
supports the artistic programme, continuing the
gallery's commitment to commissioning ambitious
and innovative contemporary art.
