A weekly workshop programme continuing the work of Penfold Medicinal Garden. Initiated by artist Uriel Orlow in 2015 as part of his exhibition at The Showroom Mafavuke’s Trial and Other Plant Stories the garden has continued an annual cycle of collective research and work, to sow seeds, care, maintain, learn and use plant based herbal knowledge led by Carole Wright (artist, community activist, bee-keeper and gardener). The garden was formed in collaboration with Church Street Bengali Women’s Group, Mosica Community Trust, Penfold Hub Gardening Group, and Penfold Hub residents and centre-users.
