Mark Hurrell

Mark Hurrell is a designer working on how knowledge and information is constructed in the public domain. Mark is Head of Graphic Design at the Government Digital Service, where he helps set the direction for what the UK government looks like on the internet. He also leads design on GOV.UK, which won the Design Museum's Design of the Year award and D&AD black and yellow pencils. Before joining GDS in 2012, he worked for BBC News. He graduated in Critical Art Practice from the University of Brighton.
