We're honoured to catch up with friend Tremaine Emory, whom we collaborated with last year presenting his installation of A Proper Burial Finally, Thanks America! alongside a conversation with Artist Theaster Gates and Director Elvira Dyangani Ose as part of the Collective Intimacy live programme at 180 the Strand in collaboration with Prada & The Vinyl Factory.

Tremaine Emory is a designer, cultural curator and the co-founder of the collective "No Vacancy Inn". His streetwear brand Denim Tears recently commemorated 400 years since slavery began in America with a capsule collection titled “The Hissing of Summer Tears”. He previously worked for Marc Jacobs and has more recently worked alongside Kanye West & Virgil Abloh. He has collaborated with New Balance 990 and DSMLA, while he continues to fundraise for Every Mother Counts - an organisation dedicated to supporting women with access to maternity care.
