Artist Laura Oldfield Ford discusses her exhibition Alpha, Isis, Eden, currently on display at The Showroom, with critic and theorist Nina Power. Alpha, Isis, Eden uses sound, collage, drawings and text to map the psychic contours of The Showroom's neighbourhood.
Nina Power is a cultural critic, social theorist, philosopher and translator. She is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Roehampton University and a Tutor on the Critical Writing in Art & Design programme at the Royal College of Art. She is author of One-Dimensional Woman and editor and translator (with Alberto Toscano) of Alain Badiou's On Beckett.
We recommend that attendees take the opportunity to visit the exhibition in advance, it will be open specially from 6–7pm on the day.
