In autumn 2012 The Showroom invited Kathrin Böhm to develop a project within the Communal Knowledge programme. I am a shop saw Böhm collaborate with PIP (Pursuing Independent Paths) over a period of five months. The work developed by Böhm and PIP during this time is presented in a four day programme at The Showroom.
Communal Knowledge is supported by The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The John Lyon's Charity, City Bridge Trust, the City of London Corporation’s Charity, and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
Artist and founding member of London based art and architecture collective public works, and the pan-european artist initiative myvillages, Böhm produces projects which are collaborative and based within the public realm.
