The Showroom's doors will close temporarily from Thursday 5 November in response to new government guidelines and in support of our team, neighbours and greater community.
Dear friends,
As we enter into a new period of lockdown, from today Thursday 5 November, The Showroom's doors will close temporarily in response to government guidelines and in support of our team, neighbours and greater community.
Whilst our physical doors close once more, our virtual ones remain wide open. Keep up-to-date with the second iteration of Recetas Urbanas' project online, and continue to engage with sonic power on our digital platform IN·FLO·RES·CENCE.
We are thrilled to have launched the first UK mid-career survey project of acclaimed filmmaker Cauleen Smith this month in collaboration with CIRCA both online and on the Piccadilly Lights – Europe's largest 4K screen! Smith has created a time-limited print The Internet Is Not The Answer for The CIRCA Economy and part of the proceeds will kindly be donated by CIRCA to support The Showroom's Programme – more information and available to buy HERE.
We also welcome you to revisit our Fortnightly Highlights; the eleventh edition, Sǒ bàtú – to bathe one's ears.
We will be back. Take care in the meantime!
The Showroom Team
