The Showroom is seeking new Trustees to join our board.
As a small charity the role of our Board of Trustees is essential in terms of providing advice, guidance and support. We currently have a number of Trustee positions open and are looking to appoint people from a wide range of backgrounds. We are looking for local representation, artists, financial and property experts to ensure our Board has the right range of skills as we move forward.
To succeed in these roles, you will need a passion for contemporary art, a drive for finding ways in which art can enhance people’s lives, and a real desire to work with a small, skilled and dedicated team. You will be able and interested to dedicate time to this role and have an interest in locally embedded, socially engaged art practices.
To apply please submit a brief CV and a covering letter explaining why you would like to be a Trustee for The Showroom and what skills and knowledge you can share with the organisation.
The deadline for applications is Friday 6 January 2023 after which we will be shortlisting for interviews.
Please email applications or questions to: [email protected]
The Showroom is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian, ethnic minority, LGBTQIA+ and/or disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the Arts sector.
